Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or other applicable degree required. Combination of education and experience will be considered. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) is required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of acute inpatient psychiatry experience. Proficiency in a computerized environment, including the MS Office Suite, is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, tact, and a positive reinforcement approach, along with strong conflict resolution abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Applicants must be self-motivated, self-directed, and capable of implementing effective solutions, supported by strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:A certificate in adult education is preferred.
