Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to lift 20 pounds (9 kg) above shoulder height. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds (27.2kg). Competent computer skills as a good portion of training, education, scheduling and payroll applications are on-line. Strong interpersonal skills and training in customer relations. Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow directions and guidelines. High standards for cleanliness and sanitation. High levels of honesty and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous food service experience in a care facility or institutional food service setting. Previous food service experience in a restaurant/cafeteria setting or customer service experience may be considered desirable in combination with other qualifications. WHMIS Certificate. Food Safe Certificate. Customer Service coursework.
