Your Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the Corporate Services Manager, Innovation, with functional reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), this position supports the strategic leadership of the Innovation portfolio and is accountable for the efficient coordination and operation of a comprehensive range of programs and services.
Description:
The Executive Assistant will also provide administrative and special project support to other Innovation leadership members in the Office of the CIO. As the first point of contact for these offices, this incumbent excels at client relations, communication, office administration, and maintains a professional level of service and tact at all times. The ability to prioritize requests and ensure services are carried out in a manner consistent with Covenant Health’s Mission, Vision, Values and Ethical Guidelines are key to this position. This is a non-unionized position.

Must have a related post-secondary certificate, e.g. Office/Business Administration or a recognized equivalent. Minimum 5 or more years of progressively responsible administrative support experience required; with at least 2 years health care background in a senior administrative support position. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. A firm commitment to living the Mission, Vision and Values of Covenant Health. Strong customer focus, commitment to continuous quality improvement and results-oriented working style. Must be proficient at learning and using a variety of computer applications including MS Office Suite. Working knowledge of SharePoint, Visio and/or Microsoft Lync is preferred; intranet software experience would be an asset. Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Superior communication, interpersonal skills/savvy. Strong technical, change, and organizational skills. Demonstrated abilities in setting and achieving goals, implementing solutions, functioning effectively within a team based setting, and providing exceptional executive and senior leadership support.
