Your Opportunity:
This position reports to the Site Integrated Access Manager (or designate), and is responsible for a full range of clerical support functions on site to support operations. This includes support of the Site Integrated Operations Centre, data entry and reporting, and general administration duties. The Site Based Integrated Operation Centre is a co-located multidisciplinary team that enacts and monitors key operational processes related to patient access and flow to maintain optimal site and resource utilization. The incumbent will be expected to rely on their strong organizational skills to prioritize support for patient movement activities with balancing shared clerical support of the Integrated Access site portfolio (Bed Coordination, Transition Services, Social Work). Experience using clinical information systems is vital, as the Clerk IV will act as support to the Bed Coordinators in patient information gathering and subsequent hospital placement. Description:
The Clerk IV provides complex clerical support. The Clerk IV performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.

Additional Required Qualifications:Must have at least five (5) years acute care related administrative/clerk experience. Must be proficient using MS Office Suite and clinical information systems. Proficiency in medical/acute care terminology.
