Your Opportunity:
Working days, evenings and weekend shifts. Position is responsible for providing courteous and professional reception and information services to patients, public and hospital personnel. Interviewing patients or their representatives for registration purposes and ensuring information is accurate and complete. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance and preferred accommodation documentation is obtained. Must maintain a positive public image to patients, hospital and staff. Must maintain constant confidentiality. Provide switchboard/communication services for the hospital - directing calls, paging services - including emergency response codes. Supporting Finance by receiving payments. The position is within a very high paced area. Other duties include, but not limited to, compiling patient charts, reviewing previous days’ registrations to ensure accuracy in the ADT system, and obtaining ULI's for newborns, chart retrieval, filing, Iron Mountain boxing/processing and other duties as required. This position requires extreme accuracy. Available on short notice when required. Please note: Classifications Under Review.

Preferred Qualifications:Meditech & Netcare Experience. Experience in a hospital registration area setting.
