Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurse of Alberta (CRPNA) is required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:2 years of clinical ED experience required (note: alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered). Recent ED charge nurse experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent AHN experience in a large urban ED preferred. Emergency Nursing Certificate (ENC) preferred. Advanced practice courses preferred (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, etc.). Leadership courses preferred. ED committee involvement preferred.
