Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate from a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program, which includes specimen handling. Beaker and Cerner Millennium Lab Information Systems data entry experience. One year public health lab experience. Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of WHMIS and SDS. Manual dexterity for manipulation of specimens. Must be able to give and follow verbal and written direction in English.
